Tai United FC won over its local rival "Tong Pong Team" by the score line 3-1. This is the first win that the United have tasted since setting the FC.
Sai Kyaw Hla who scored two for the team to win over its rival said, "It is our first win and I hope we are going win more as we played as a team."
"We have lost for several times but we won them this time," Nikom who opened the goal for the team added.
The game was started in the raining which both teams wanted to win. However, the United took the lead after Nikom striked from the near post. However, the Tong Pong team draw the scoreline from the offside kick after the Sai Noom divierted the ball into its own goal.
The game moved on. Sai Kyaw Hla strike the first goal. The Tong Pong team tried to come back but when Piboon won the ball from the Tong Pong team passed to Sai Kyaw Hla, Sai Kyaw Hla sealed the victory by 3-1 at the last minutes of the game.
However, as the United showed more committement on the game and the United took the victory for the first time.
Sai Tu, the Tong Pong midfielder said, "The United deserved the win as they are more committed. However, we will come back and beat them next game."
Tong Pong and the Tai United FC have played each other every week and the Tong Pong Team won for several times.

Tai United FC lost 3-0 to the Alliance Team in the Friendly match
Last Sunday(15 May 2011), Tai United FC lost 3-0 to the Alliance Team in the friendly match. According to the players, they are lack of confidence and it was the first time for the player to play in the competitive matches.
Ai Jai, who played on the left winger said, "The alliance team is too strong for us and we are too afraid to play our usual football. However, we learned a lot from this game. I hope we will come back stronger and it will be due to our hard work i n the training."
Hong Kham, who was injured on the tight said, "We lost as a team and we played below the par. However, we will bounce back from this defeat. It is lucky that we still manage to defend well."
As it was the first match for the team, it will not be easy to beat other teams without proper training. It was a worthy experience, the team believed.

TUFC is a Shan migrant workers's football club that formed by the group of young Shan youth that work in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The aim of the foundation is to stick together, helping each other and maining a good community work.

Three Shan young migrant workers join with Tai United FC (TUFC) this Sunday (08 May 2011). Sai Li, the new member said, "I want to play football. I love football. But we still cannot show our real skill in the highest competitions."
His friend, Sai Kyaw Hla added, "We need to stick together and play together."

Most of the members are the Shan migrant workers and learn Thai education at Buddhist temples. In the meantime, they play football in order to maintain good health. By doing so, they could free themselves from drugs and misguided by some others. Of course, the aim of the group is just for playing football.
Furthermore, there is no Shan migrant workers who are able to compete on the government sponsored-competitions.

Even the Shan could not represent themselves on the football competitions, they are still dreaming to play football like other nationalities.
