Tai United FC lost 3-0 to the Alliance Team in the Friendly match

Last Sunday(15 May 2011), Tai United FC lost 3-0 to the Alliance Team in the friendly match. According to the players, they are lack of confidence and it was the first time for the player to play in the competitive matches.



Alliance team is no man team but a combined youths from different groups.
 Ai Jai, who played on the left winger said, "The alliance team is too strong for us and we are too afraid to play our usual football. However, we learned a lot from this game. I hope we will come back stronger and it will be due to our hard work i n the training."

Hong Kham, who was injured on the tight said, "We lost as a team and we played below the par. However, we will bounce back from this defeat. It is lucky that we still manage to defend well."

As it was the first match for the team, it will not be easy to beat other teams without proper training. It was a worthy experience, the team believed.

Sai Korn


Three Shan young migrant workers join with Tai United FC (TUFC) this Sunday (08 May 2011). Sai Li, the new member said, "I want to play football. I love football. But we still cannot show our real skill in the highest competitions."

His friend, Sai Kyaw Hla added, "We need to stick together and play together."

TUFC is a Shan migrant workers's football club that formed by the group of young Shan youth that work in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The aim of the foundation is to stick together, helping each other and maining a good community work.


Sai Harn


Most of the members are the Shan migrant workers and learn Thai education at Buddhist temples. In the meantime, they play football in order to maintain good health. By doing so, they could free themselves from drugs and misguided by some others. Of course, the aim of the group is just for playing football.



Furthermore, there is no Shan migrant workers who are able to compete on the government sponsored-competitions.


Sai Kur

Even the Shan could not represent themselves on the football competitions, they are still dreaming to play football like other nationalities.
